A different and innovative work environment
At Derudder’s, we give a lot of importance to the work environment of our teams.
Our head office is located in a fast-growing area of Le Havre, easy to reach by car, has a good tram and bus service, is located in a new residential and business area offering various local services : nurseries, pharmacies, bakeries, groceries selling organic products, gyms, osteopaths, etc … and of course a lift and private parking with electrical charging stations.
Our offices built in 2018 are spread over two floors with a tea room, a beautiful cafeteria overlooking a large furnished terrace, and even a relaxation area. Made up of large open spaces, reinforced by numerous well-equipped meeting rooms, phone boxes and sit-stand areas, the workspaces facilitate exchanges between our teams or meetings with our customers & partners when they come to visit us.
Derudder also manages a logistics site near Valence (Drôme) where we are also working on improving the comfort of our teams; sofas in staff lounges where staff members can have their lunch, WIFI access, shower cubicles, sit-stand areas for coffee.
And finally, Derudder has a commercial office in Paris in a business centre with a common meeting room and a cafeteria, as well as a secondary office in Mayotte.
Sport and ambiance
What’s more important than a good atmosphere at work?!
Many of our employees regularly organize sports activities, such as Urban Football or Padel Tennis. Others transform a meeting area into a “table tennis corner” during the lunch break. It has also become something of an annual tradition for a group of Derudder employees to organize a karting party with some sports enthusiasts.
A gym and fitness centre is located just below our offices in Le Havre, so our staff can easily go there during their lunch break. Moreover, the company shares the membership fees: they come back in shape to work more efficiently and with a smile!
The company has set up a concierge service which comes to our offices once a week: it is possible to purchase packed lunches or bread – possibility of depositing and collecting from the shoe repair store, from the dry cleaner’s … by the concierge …. You save a few minutes of your precious time at the end of your day or your weekend.
Every year the worker’s committee organizes a grand evening and at least one outing to the bowling alley, while the company organizes a barbecue on the 1st of July every year to celebrate the arrival of summer, an event that will from now on be held on our large terrace on the top floor.
